

LEADERSHIP
RREA exists to enhance the Rotman real estate experience for students through education, application, and exposure, and with our strong leadership focused on these objectives, we continue to thrive.
Parsa is a civil engineer and MBA candidate in the Skoll BASc/MBA program at the Rotman School of Management, one of four students selected for this dual-degree pathway in Canada. He has worked on mid-rise and high-rise residential developments through roles at Mattamy Homes and the Gilgan Family Office, gaining experience in construction coordination, operations, and project planning.
At the University of Toronto, Parsa served as president of the Civil Engineering Discipline Club, where he led student initiatives focused on professional development and community building. He values clear communication, strong execution, and creating spaces where people feel welcome to learn and contribute.
As President of the Rotman Real Estate Association, Parsa is focused on strengthening alumni and industry engagement, hosting hands-on learning opportunities and helping students explore the many paths within real estate.
Outside of Rotman, he enjoys reading classic novels, playing basketball, and watching a good movie.

Sam Khalifa
Sam holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Civil Engineering from the University of British Columbia. Prior to Rotman, he spent five years leading teams in construction project management with Turner Construction, specializing in institutional and industrial developments ranging from $25–200 million. His portfolio includes data centres, particle accelerator facilities, hospitals, fuel stations, municipal service yards, and high-end office fit-outs.

Sam chose to pursue an MBA to deepen his skills in finance, strategy, and leadership, with the goal of applying these skills in real estate investment and development. As Vice President, External, he is committed to connecting incoming MBA candidates with industry leaders and supporting their exploration of the commercial real estate landscape.

Sam is currently working at KPMG's Global Infrastructure Advisory Team. In addition to his role with the Real Estate Association, Sam also serves as an executive with the Rotman Finance Association. He works to foster collaboration between the two clubs and promote opportunities in real estate finance. In his free time, Sam enjoys playing on the MBA hockey team, running, cooking, and playing spikeball.

Joyce has over 10 years of professional experience in real estate investment and development. She previously held investment roles at leading real estate developers in China, where she led financial analysis, feasibility reporting, and major transactions.

She is a CFA Charterholder with a Master of Management Science and a Bachelor of Management, both majoring in accounting.

At Rotman, Joyce brings her passion for real estate and investments to her role in RREA. She is dedicated to creating opportunities for students to deepen industry knowledge, build meaningful connections, and advance their careers in the real estate sector.
Joyce Ye Luo

Eun Jae Baek
Vice President, Operations
Eun Jae Baek is a design and development professional with a background in architecture and a growing focus on real estate investment and development. Prior to Rotman, he worked on aviation and transportation related infrastructure projects across Asia and Africa, contributing to design development, feasibility studies, and project management.
He holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Penn State and brings a global perspective shaped by his experiences living in Korea, India, Singapore, and the U.S. Eun Jae combines his design expertise with an analytical mindset, aiming to bridge the gap between architecture, capital, and strategy in real estate.
At Rotman, Eun Jae is pursuing his Full-Time MBA and currently serves as a GLDP Summer Associate at CIBC, working with the Network Strategy and Planning team. In this role, he leverages his architectural insights to enhance the design and client experience of CIBC banking centers nationwide.
As VP of Operations for the Rotman Real Estate Association, Eun Jae is responsible for the seamless execution of all RREA events, coordinating logistics such as venue booking, catering, A/V setup, and event registration, while supporting post-event follow-ups to ensure a smooth and engaging experience for members and guests.
Eun Jae looks forward to deepening his understanding of the real estate industry, connecting with peers and professionals, and contributing to a vibrant and collaborative real estate community at Rotman.


Saba Owji
Vice President, Communications
Saba is a real estate and building industry professional with over 15 years of experience spanning residential and commercial real estate, investments, and development. As Managing Principal and Realtor® at Equity Stone Realty & Consulting Group, she leads property acquisitions, negotiations, and project delivery.
Her past roles include Senior Manager at PwC Capital Projects & Infrastructure, as well as consulting engineering, and project and contract management positions in both the private and public sectors, where she planned and managed complex capital projects, negotiated contracts, and set up and led PMOs.
With experience in resale, pre-construction, assignments, and leasing across residential and commercial markets, Saba looks forward to sharing insights and learning alongside fellow students, alumni, and industry leaders.
At Rotman, she is pursuing her Evening MBA and is passionate about supporting members’ professional growth and wealth building. Saba is always glad to share her knowledge and expertise with classmates and friends exploring their own real estate journeys.

Jean Luc Cinq-Mars
Vice President, Industry Relations
Jean Luc holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from Toronto Metropolitan University and is currently pursuing his MBA at the Rotman School of Management. Prior to Rotman, he worked across structural design and project coordination roles on over $1 billion worth of residential, commercial, and industrial developments. His experience spans high-rise construction, value-engineered design, and budget management, with firms such as Stephenson Engineering and Caliber Structures.

Driven by a passion for the built environment and capital markets, Jean Luc joined Rotman to strengthen his skills in finance, strategy, and real estate investing. As a VP Industry Relations, his goal is to help ensure that incoming students are aware of the roles in the industry and bring together working professionals to educate incoming students through club events.

Jean Luc also serves as an executive with the Rotman Finance Association and brings a strong interest in the intersection of capital allocation and sustainability. Outside of academics, he enjoys photography, various sports, reading and live music.
Jason Cho
Vice President, Finance
Jason holds a Bachelor of Science in Health Promotion and Disease Prevention Studies from the University of Southern California and is currently pursuing his MBA at the Rotman School of Management with a dual emphasis in Finance and Real Estate. Prior to Rotman, he accumulated nearly a decade of experience in real estate investment and asset management across Canada, Korea, Singapore, the United States, and Europe, managing portfolios valued at over $3 billion.

Jason’s career has spanned roles in asset management, portfolio oversight, and investment execution at global firms such as CapitaLand, Inmark Asset Management, and CBRE. His transaction experience includes asset acquisitions, divestments, and strategic repositioning across residential, commercial, hospitality, and industrial sectors. He has successfully led leasing, budgeting, and operational efficiency initiatives, while also developing complex financial models to support investment decisions and performance reporting.

As VP of Finance for the Real Estate Association, Jason oversees budgeting and funding strategy for the club’s initiatives. He is committed to enhancing student engagement and professional development through responsible financial planning and support for high-impact programming.
Jason is passionate about global capital flows, real asset investing, and financial innovation. Outside of school and work, he enjoys playing basketball, studying poker theory, and cheering for the Toronto Raptors.
