RREA exists to enhance the Rotman real estate experience for students through education, application, and exposure, and with our strong leadership focused on these objectives, we continue to thrive.


Prior to Rotman, Connor worked for, a Toronto based property technology startup serving residential real estate clients from Ontario to B.C. At Property, he led data and analytics efforts, including implementation of business intelligence software and processes. Connor holds a Bachelors Degree in Applied Economics from Queen’s University, where he also played five years for the varsity football team. 


In his first year at Rotman, Connor was active across several clubs, including the RREA where he was part of the winning team at the RREA/Smartcentres Development Case Competition,  a finalist at Schulich’s Developers’ Den, and a finalist at OTTP’s Private Equity Case Competition. When he’s not in the classroom, you can find Connor watching baseball, playing golf, or reading a book by the nearest body of water.


This summer, Connor worked as a Summer Intern for Harrison Street with the acquisitions / investments team.

Connor Weir


Prior to attending Rotman, Justin worked as a civil engineer for 5 years in Toronto, serving as a civil consultant on a wide variety of development projects across the GTA. He is experienced in supporting developers through all stages of the development process including: due diligence of land acquisitions; the entitlement process; and the construction process. From this exposure to clients’ work, Justin cultivated a passion for real estate, and this past summer completed an internship with the development team at Cadillac Fairview. Justin holds both Bachelor of Science and Master of Engineering degrees in Civil Engineering from Queen’s University, and is a licensed Professional Engineer in Ontario.


In his first year at Rotman, Justin was part of the winning team at the RREA/SmartCentres Development Case Competition, and was a finalist at Schulich’s Developers’ Den. In his spare time, you can find Justin at the rugby pitch, hockey arena, or banging on the drums for local indie rock band Hymn Villa.

Fernando is a CFA Charterholder and has a BA in Economics from the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru. He has over 6 years of transactional experience in investment banking and real estate, responsible for direct equity and debt investments. For his summer internship, Fernando worked at SLC Management in their Real Estate Private Fixed Income team. 


Fernando Sosa Lopez

Prior to Rotman, Paul worked for D.G Jones and Partners, a Middle East leader in the construction management and services sector. He is also experienced in structural design and high-rise construction. Paul holds a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degrees in Civil Engineering from the American University of Beirut and is passionate about sustainability and energy efficiency.

During his first year at Rotman, Paul was an active member of the RREA, participating in many of the events held, and helped his team win third place in the prestigious Developer’s Den Case Competition held in York’s Schulich School of Business. This summer, Paul worked as an Investment Intern at Parkbridge Communities, working on acquiring and expanding income-producing properties.

Before joining Rotman, Renzo spent 7 years working in construction and project management in Peru. He worked at Flesan, where he participated in the construction of a variety of real estate assets, including multifamily, retail, office, and industrial projects throughout Peru. Renzo holds a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas.

During his first year at Rotman, Renzo was an active member of the RREA and had the opportunity to help his team capture the third place in the Developer’s Den Case competition, Canada’s most renowned real estate competition. 

This summer, Renzo worked as an intern in the project feasibility - acquisitions team with Tridel, Canada’s leading developer and builder of condominium residences with more than eight decades of diverse experience.

Jagannath Kshtriya

Vice President, Communications

Jagannath is a professional engineer and holds the P.Eng. designation in Ontario, which qualifies him to practice engineering in Canada. Jagannath is also the founder of Green Pumpkin Corp., which is a family-run investment fund focused on conducting market research, preparing comprehensive financial models, and maintaining and operating rental units in Toronto. 


At RREA, Jagannath is responsible for managing the messaging and branding of RREA through the upkeep of the RREA website, LinkedIn, Instagram, and Rotman email.
