​Join MBA and undergraduate students from all over Canada for an exciting opportunity to a real development challenge in Toronto. competition aims to ignite innovation and unite diverse talents from various disciplines. Working in teams of three to five, will engage in site analysis, enhance their financial modeling skills, and gain hands experience in real estate development. The three teams will not only win prizes but also the chance to present their ideas to a distinguished panel of senior industry professionals.

ELIGIBILITY & MENTORSHIP
All Rotman graduate students, as well as undergraduate students, are invited to participate in this competition. Each team can be composed of two to four graduate students. Students can sign up as a team or they can sign up individually or as a pair and we can create a team for them by matching them to students from other disciplines.

Current RREA executives, individuals who may present a conflict of interest as deemed by the RREA, and students from the 1st place winning team in past RREA case competitions are not eligible.

RREA reserves the right to disqualify teams and limit the number of teams that can participate in the competition.

Each team will get paired to a mentor where they have a chance to meet with them in January for feedback and guidance
COMPETITION DATES
December 2025
Deadline to register is December 18th. Teams will be paired on Dec 19th. Case will be released Dec 20th
January 30, 2026
Teams will have the holidays and most of January to work on their proposal. Proposal to be submitted on Jan 30th.

COMMUNICATION WITH RREA
Each team must designate one student member as the team leader who will act as a contact person with RREA.
